Mental Performance Training for Teams That Need to Perform, Sustain, and Lead Well
Your team works across time zones. They make decisions under pressure. They carry high expectations, complex responsibilities, and limited in-person connection.
These are the exact conditions that erode mental resilience, degrade team cohesion, and accelerate burnout — often invisibly, until the cost is already significant.
What a mentally trained team looks like instead:
Not calmer. Not slower. Not less ambitious.
They recover between demands rather than carrying each week into the next. Disagreement stays productive, because nobody's operating from threat. People notice they're depleted before it shows up in the work, or in an exit interview. The same complexity, the same stakes, the same standards, at meaningfully less internal cost.
Most organisations treat that difference as personality. It's closer to training.
Psyvera corporate retreats and workshops bring clinical rigor, performance psychology, nervous system science, and real-world application into one powerful experience designed to help teams build the mental skills that sustain high performance.
This is not a wellness perk. It is a performance investment.

About Dr. Christina Migliara
Dr. Christina Migliara is the founder of Psyvera™ — a global coaching and consulting brand built on one belief: that unlocking your mental truth is the foundation of every health and performance outcome worth pursuing.
She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, National Master Addiction Counselor, Certified Addiction Professional, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with a PhD in General Psychology and over two decades of clinical and performance experience.
As a successful entrepreneur who has founded and led ventures in the health, performance, and wellness space — and a contributing author in the 2026 HIFT textbook on the mental health benefits of high-intensity functional training — Dr. Migliara brings a rare combination of clinical depth and real-world performance experience.
She has worked with executives, professional athletes, gym owners, and high performers across industries — and she understands both the demands of high-performance work culture and the science of what sustains it.
Her framework — built around five core mindset skills: Awareness, Capacity, Resilience, Strength, and Optimism — delivers measurable results through nervous system science, clinical assessment, breathwork, and performance psychology.
The name Psyvera is personal. Psy — for the mind, for this work, for everything clinical psychology represents. Vera — the Italian word for truth, and a quiet nod to where I come from. My father immigrated from Sicily and Italy has always been my home away from home. I am as proud of my Italian roots as I am of this work. Putting those two things together felt right — because at its core, this is exactly what Psyvera is built to do: help you find your mental truth.

REQUEST A SPEAKING SAMPLEWhy Mental Performance Training Belongs at Your Retreat
High-performing teams do not burn out because they lack talent.
They burn out when pressure outpaces capacity, communication breaks down, and the nervous system stays in survival mode for too long.
The research is clear. Organizations that invest in evidence-based mental performance training see measurable improvements in:
- Decision-making quality under pressure
- Emotional regulation and stress recovery speed
- Team trust, cohesion, and communication
- Individual performance sustainability and retention
- Leadership effectiveness and executive resilience
Dr. Migliara's client work spans two decades and reflects genuinely high-stakes environments. Her clinical and performance background includes working with military service members on pre-deployment mental readiness and reintegration — one of the highest-pressure performance contexts that exists. She has spoken to and worked with gym owners, coaches, and performance professionals across the country, and her individual client work spans executives, entrepreneurs, athletes, and leaders across multiple industries. The framework has been tested where the stakes are real — and it holds.
The results that emerge consistently across engagements include leaders reporting measurably faster recovery between high-demand periods, teams describing significant shifts in how they communicate under pressure, and individuals with tracked HRV data showing documented improvement in nervous system baseline across 12-week engagements. These are not anecdotal outcomes — they are the product of a clinical framework that measures change at the physiological level, not just the behavioral one.
When implemented with clinical rigor, mental performance training gives your team more than inspiration.
It gives them a shared language, practical tools, and a framework they can apply immediately in the moments that matter most.

What It Is
A high-impact keynote presentation delivering Dr. Migliara’s signature framework to your full company.
Grounded in 20 years of clinical and performance research, the keynote is tailored specifically to your team’s context — remote-first culture, high-performance demands, leadership pressure, and the mental skills required to sustain both individual and collective excellence.
Suggested Keynote Topics
Each keynote is tailored to your team’s specific context. Below are the most frequently requested topics with the organizational situations they are designed for.
THE MENTAL SKILLS THAT MATTER MOST
Best for: organizations navigating growth, high turnover, or teams that are performing but visibly running on depleted reserves.
Your team is talented and delivering — but the internal cost is higher than it should be. This keynote reframes grit, resilience, and optimism as trainable, measurable performance skills and gives your people a shared language and practical framework to begin applying immediately.
YOU CANNOT OUT-LOGIC YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM
Best for: leadership teams making high-stakes decisions under sustained competitive or market pressure, or organizations going through significant change — including AI disruption, restructuring, or rapid scaling.
When the pressure is high and the decisions matter most, the nervous system — not strategy — determines the quality of the response. This keynote explains why and gives leaders the tools to train their physiological response to pressure rather than simply managing the consequences of it.
THE FRONT LINE OF PERFORMANCE STARTS HERE
Best for: managers, team leads, and people operations leaders responsible for culture, retention, and team resilience.
Culture is not a values statement. It is the nervous system output of its leadership. This keynote gives managers and team leads the clinical framework and practical tools to build genuine psychological safety and mental resilience into their team culture — not as a program, but as a daily practice.
UNLOCK YOUR MENTAL TRUTH
Best for: full-company keynotes, annual retreats, or any moment when an organization wants to invest in the whole person — not just the professional performance.
A personal and broadly accessible keynote that connects self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and peak performance in a way that resonates across roles, levels, and backgrounds. The keynote that leaves the whole room with something they will actually use.
